Classroom/School Activities and Clearances

The following PTA-sponsored activities occur on school premises and/or in the classroom.  Parent volunteers wishing to participate in these activities must be PTA members AND have completed the required clearances.

  • Decorating committees (windows, lobby, bulletin boards)

  • Family Bingo Night

  • Holiday Shoppe volunteer

  • Teacher/staff appreciation luncheon

  • 5th Grade Activities

In order to guide this process, WJHSD has created this volunteer manual to help our volunteers acquire the necessary clearances. All volunteers working directly with students are required to submit copies of clearances to the school's administration prior to volunteering. If you have any questions concerning applying for clearances, please contact your school’s administration, or the WJHSD Human Resources Department.
